Assistant Accountant

Based in Watford, Hertfordshire our award-winning client are looking for an Finance Analyst to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This job would be suitable for someone who is part qualified currently studying AAT/ ACCA/ CIMA. This position provides support in producing management reports, dealing with large volumes of data and treasury duties.

The successful individual should have strong analytical skills and be used to large amounts of data from multiple sources.

They will have excellent attention to detail with good organisational skills and flexible attitude in prioritising work tasks and adhoc requirements.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills, is essential for this role.

Jobresponsibilities:

Weekly reporting of sales and other management reports.
Forecasting daily cash flow and reporting of bank account balances.
Forecasting foreign currency requirements.
Responsible for tracking and verifying bank charges.
Checking and updating interest receipts, payments and accruals.
Coordinating and communicating operational issues with service providers.
Assisting with producing various periodic management reports.
Assisting with other activities on an ad hoc basis.
