Mechanical Design Engineer

Hatfield, Hertfordshire

£37,000 - £40,000 Per Annum
Our client, a leader in specialist labelling systems are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team

Roles and Responsibilities:

Preparing technical documentation and machine operating manuals
Maintaining drawings and project records
Use of companies Key Creator 3D CAD System
Work and design within statutory guidance
Prepare supporting documents for sales and purchasing department
Sourcing key components and Parts procurement
Provide technical problem solving, including "hands on" involvement
Liaising with clients and other internal departments
Preparing Bill of Material listings
Support the General Manager on all Technical matters
35 years' experience in mechanical design
Experience designing for small special purpose mechanical handling machinery
A background in manufacturing/ assembly
Experience from an engineering related position
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Have good communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate good housekeeping in their work area
