We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with knowledge of fault finding and repairs of low voltage electrical equipment to work for our client's plant in Brandon, Suffolk.

In the role of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will be reporting to the Site Manager. You will be responsible for the process plant, equipment and site infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role working closely with the Operations Team and contractors,and at the end of each shift you will need to complete a detailed shift hand over to an Engineer.

Day to day you will carry out and record all PPM tasks in line with the schedules and be responsible for the reliability of the plant, completing any reactive maintenance through fault finding and breakdown repairs.

Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for relationships with suppliers to ensure essential spares are readily available and longer lead-time critical spares are replaced when used.

This role will also give you the opportunity to providesuggestions for improvements to reduce downtime.
