- Global supplier relationship management across raw materials and packaging
- Supplier relationship management, identifying opportunities for rationalisation/cost reduction/avoidance
- Supplier/-cost negotiations and performance management, contract renewals/retenders
- Business partnering internal stakeholders i.e. Quality Control and Assurance, Finance, Technical teams - collaborating to resolve quality issues/ support material changes/NPI
- Collaborating closely with Planning to understand and interrogate forecasts, demand and inventory
- Change control management

- A direct procurement background in Pharmaceutical/Chemicals/Food sector as this is a standalone direct procurement role for the site
- Strategic direct procurement experience essential, accustomed to managing a global supply base
- Excellent attention to detail, technically minded, able to keep on top of regulatory changes and their impact to direct procurement and supplier relationship management
- Proactive, positive can-do attitude, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Adaptable to the changing requirements and priorities within the business
- Resilient, strong communicator, confident in challenging and engaging cross functionally with stakeholders of all levels
- Willing to travel as required to visit supplier network
