- Executing preventative maintenance tasks and providing rapid response to plant breakdowns and repairs.
- Undertaking installation tasks on machinery within the factory, including maintenance of bay lighting and other electrical services.
- Ensuring all tasks are completed safely, professionally, and in compliance with company protocols.
- Maintaining clear communication with supervisors and completing necessary shift reports and documentation.
- Installation work on both factory and process machinery.
- Fault find on 415v, 240v, 110v and 24vac and dc systems.
- Follow CCT diagrams to aid fault finding.
- PLC, establish necessary input/output (no program facility)
- Fault find on OHC's, Remote handsets, contactor function, fuses.
- DC drives/inverters basic knowledge would be an advantage.
- Maintain high bay lighting replacement, repair, and LED upgrade.
- Test emergency lighting and evacuation alarm system.
- Involved in CCT design and control panel building.
- Preferred completion of an Apprenticeship or time-served in a relevant field.
- Desirable qualifications include 18th Edition IEE Regs, NVQ level 3, or City and Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance.
- Experience in heavy industrial environments, particularly with Slitting/Decoiling machines, is advantageous.
- A valid driving license is preferred.
- Midweek Basic Rate - £15.93ph
- Overtime during the week @ Rate 2 (£19.11ph)
- Saturday overtime @ Rate 4 (£23.89ph)
- Sunday and Bank holidays @ Rate 3 (£31.86ph)
