    Job Description

    The PMO Analyst role is integral to supporting the successful management, delivery, and implementation of one or more of our Enterprise Programmes (high complexity programmes, involving multiple projects, a large number of stakeholders and delivering on enterprise-wide strategic and transformational outcomes).

    The nature of Enterprise Programmes means that they need careful management, strong governance and robust planning. As the PMO Analyst you will be expected to use your skills and experience to ensure programme compliance with agreed standards, processes and deliverables. You will also be expected to identify, recommend and introduce additional processes and deliverables required by each specific programme and to increase the programme management maturity within a given programme.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Decisions are recorded, reviewed and updated in the RAIDD
  • Co-ordinates plans, risks, issues, dependencies and resource plans across all workstreams
  • Prepares Steerco / governance materials and programme reporting as directed/guided by the Programme Management Lead
  • Works with workstream/project teams to maintain Programme materials eg Plan on Page, Workstream Plans, Milestone Plans, Deliverables Tracking, Weekly Updates, Engagement Decks, Budget updates
  • Ensures plans are in place and maintained for all workstreams (independently or in conjunction with the Project/Workstream Manager)
  • Ensures Programme/Portfolio tools are updated.
  • Supports Programme Management Lead / Change Management Lead in keeping stakeholder analysis and management plans up to date.
  • Tracks and reports on workstream progress
  • Provides insights and data to support reporting and programme updates
  • ​Schedules and manages internal programme communications
  • Arranging key meetings – send out invites, monitors acceptances, confirms key attendees
  • Setting up sites/channels/folders
  • Provides analysis and reporting to support budget management
  • Experience / Skills

  • PMO experience in a similar business &/or other structured environments (eg Financial Services)
  • Applying Programme and Project methodologies in a range of environments
  • Using a range of Programme and Project tools
  • Experience in following Programme Governance methodologies
  • Experience of working in complex cross functional / cross regional programmes
  • Experience in diverse multi-cultural environments.
  • Experience of increasing and improving the PMO capability within an environment
  • Experience of Teams / Sharepoint/ Agile / Sprint
  • Project Management Qualification e.g. PMI, PRINCE2, Management of Successful Programmes (MSP), Management of Portfolios (MoP), Management of Risk (MoR) or Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O).
