Our dynamic, caring and highly-motivated team is looking for colleagues who can communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and relatives as well as other team members.


No two days in the department are ever the same, so we can guarantee a varied and interesting workload, in return, we would need someone with excellent organisational skills, the capability to prioritise a busy workload, masses of professionalism, good teamwork skills and an ability to work under pressure.


Our Emergency Department is a challenging but rewarding place to work, with no 2 days being the same, where the team is supportive, friendly and motivational.


Your role involves working as part of our 'ED Family' to deliver hands on patient care to a high standard and reporting any concerns to registered nursing team/Clinicians.


You will be expected to perform phlebotomy and cannulation, alongside being confident in carrying out assessments and appropriate escalation and as part of the ED team it is essential to have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.


You'll need excellent communication skills and, of course, a passion for caring and will work alongside a team with a band 7 leading the team, the department runs a fixed 4 week Rota.


You will be need to able to cope in a busy and dynamic environment working alongside qualified practitioners, delivering hands on care in a patient centered manner, recording observations and escalating concerns to the qualified practitioners.
