Social Media Executive to join our
Regatta Digital **team.


The Social Media Executive reports into the Social Media Manager and is a key function of the Digital Content & Marketing team.

This role is responsible for contributing to and delivering the social media strategy, in addition to tailoring and delivering digital content for use across all social media platforms for Regatta.

This role contributes to co-ordinating social media campaigns and communications for the Regatta brand, in order to reach & engage new and existing customers.


The Social Media Executive works cross-functionally with the internal Brand Marketing & Digital Design teams to ensure brand campaigns are effectively communicated alongside engaging and innovative social campaigns which align to the digital planner.

The Social Media Executive is key in supporting the Social Media Manager to execute the social media strategy across all territories.


A collaborative position, this role also works closely with the Regatta Trade & wider Group Performance Marketing functions, ensuring that the social media plan supports the existing trade priorities.

Furthermore, this role must be able to work closely with complementary social functions, including Paid Social & Customer Experience team representatives.


The Social Media Executive must be able to analyse data insights and support in the distribution of data to stakeholders regarding social performance across Regatta's platforms, providing recommendations and highlighting opportunities for growth.


The Social Media Executive is consumer-first; focused on building long-lasting consumer relationships based on highly targeted and relevant brand engagement.


As our future social media exec, you will have:

  • Strong understanding of changing social media landscape, up to date with popular culture, trends, industry news and evolving platform features
  • Appreciation for consumerexperience, delivering innovative social content and communications which drive customer retention and brand loyalty
  • Experienced in working crossfunctionally to deliver change, with a "can do" attitude and handson solutionbased approach
  • Ability to communicate effectively both 121 and in larger groups
  • Awareness of the importance in planning and developing social media content aligned to trading performance plan
  • Experience in complying to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Relevant international eCommerce regulations e.g. consent and targeting

Systems knowledge

  • Social Scheduling & Analysis Tools e.g. Falcon / Hootsuite etc
  • Digital analytics solutions e.g. Google Analytics (GA), Contentsquare
  • Briefing and task management systems. E.g. Trello
