    Senior Heat Pump Engineer - Progress to Service or Project Manager

    Can you fault-find on heat pumps with your eyes closed? Do you want to eventually get off the tools into a management role?

    This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Heat Pump Engineer to join a business that has recently received investment and is on track to go through a period of growth, starting with the maintenance department

    This will start as an 80 / 20 split, maintaining heat pumps with a view to progressing off the tools into a management role; this could be Service Manager, Project Manager or similar

    Package:

    • Salary £45,000 to £50,000
    • Progression to Service Manager, Service Supervisor or Project Supervisor, Project Manager
    • Over-time bonus
    • 8% pension
    • 28 days holiday

    Requirements:

    • Experienced Heat Pump Engineer, Gas Engineer, Heating Engineer or Plumber
    • Must have the Domestic Gas Level 3 qualification
    • Background in fault-finding and repairing air source heat pumps
    • Strong understanding of associated controls
    • Based in Hampshire

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the maintenance and servicing of heat pump systems, including routine inspections, cleaning, and performance testing
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with heat pump components, such as compressors, refrigerant lines, and control systems
    • Develop preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize system performance
    • Coordinate with clients to schedule maintenance visits and communicate maintenance recommendations and findings
