Our client is a world-renowned organisation who specialise in product and system innovation for the automotive arena, seeking to recruit a Building Services Manager to support the development of their new Technology Centre based out of Warwick.

As Building Services Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all regulation and legislations are understood and complied, buildings and facilities meet the necessary requirements, safe working practices are adhered to at all times and day to day maintenanceis facilitated to ensure mínimal impact to the innovation team.

As a Building Services Manager you will:

Managed the planned move to the new Technology Centre and associated areas are scheduled and implemented to meet company and departmental objectives.
Maintain building services to ensure all facilities meet the required standards and functionality to meet operational demands with regulative and legislative standards.
Take charge of all appropriate safety regulations and ensure they are adhered to include PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, MHOR, PATT etc.
Fully approve Risk Assessment documents are in place for all activities within the innovation centre.
Ensure all safe working practices are adhered to and are up to date.
Make sure all visitors to the innovation centre complete the necessary induction process.
Cascade communications relevant to the facility across all facets of the business as and when required.

As a Building Services Manager you will need:

Educated to degree level in a relevant professional accreditation, ideally with a qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services or with relevant experience
Knowledge of safety regulations and safe working practices
Previous experience in Building Services Management within new facility set up
Full understanding of detailed M & E procedures, you'll have a sound level of technical and professional expertise, installation and commissioning programmes, planning and prioritising daily diary, to ensure all targets are met
Strong project delivery skills being able to address problems quickly to keep milestones and timelines on track and within budgetary requirements
Excellent communication skills at all levels being able to manage contract suppliers during the build phase and through maintenance / service agreements
