    Construction Estimator


    About Us:
    Our client a leading construction company specialising in commercial and residential schemes.

    With a track record of excellence and a commitment to quality, we have successfully completed numerous projects ranging from Devon to Dorset.


    The Construction Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with construction projects, from initial planning stages through to completion.

    Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand project scope and requirements.
    Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
    Analyze project variables and develop cost models to determine project budgets.
    Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to gather input and ensure accuracy of estimates.
    Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide regular updates to project teams.
    Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
    Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
    Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or ProEst.
    Prior experience in residential and commercial construction projects is a plus.
