Group Accountant - West Malling, United Kingdom - Cobb & Jones

Cobb & Jones Recruitment are partnering with a hugely successful PE services business based near West Malling. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller the Group Accountant will play a pivotal role in all aspects of the finance function.

Hybrid working is on offer for this role with 3 x days a week working from home.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Manage monthly reporting for the UK business and subsidiaries
• Support the business with annual audits
• Support the statutory accounts preparation and tax returns
• Group consolidations
• Deliver monthly consolidated P&L and balance sheet
• Intercompany reconciliations and recharges

Candidate Profile & Experience

• Qualified accountant - ACA or ACCA or CIMA
• The ideal candidate will have experienced working in an accountancy practice
• Experience of statutory accounts and audit process
• Experience of working for international businesses and group currency consolidations
• The ideal candidate will be an excellent verbal and written communicator
• Thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment
