We currentlyhave an opportunity for aGrounds MaintenanceSupervisorbased in the West Midlands supporting theCanal & River Trust contract for deliveryofGrounds Trees and VegetationManagement. Reporting to the Contract DeliveryManager you will ensure work is completed to the highest possiblestandards in terms of safety environment quality customer serviceand profitability.

Your duties will include butnot be limited to:

• DeliveringEmergency Works as part of an oncallrota.
• Delivering plannedworks keeping track of progress and highlighting any concerns toyour CDM.
• Organisedirectly employed and field team staff to deliver the programme ontime and to the higheststandard.
• Pricing of bothreactive and planned works using the schedule of rates and ensuringthey are delivered within the agreedmargin.

• Experience at a teamleader level within the grounds maintenanceindustry
• Excellentleadership and negotiationskills
• Persistence anddetermination
• Attention todetail
• Knowledge ofproject management software such as MicrosoftProject
• Ability toprioritise tasks
• Skills tomanage costs risks andcontingencies
• Ability towork and make decisions underpressure
