Title:
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias)

Purpose:
To carry out maintenance work, primarily based in the clients HQ

Responsible To:
Lead Engineer / Line Manager**
Location: London

Dimensions:
Primarily based in the clients HQ, London, undertaking a variety of general

maintenance, reactive and PPM work.

Subordinates:
None

Principle Accountabilities:


  • Upholding Ethos Facilities first class reputation, in a customer facing environment.
  • Ensuring Q,H&S is always observed and complied with.
  • Learn the full functionality of the HQ Building, including but not limited to all building services eg
Lighting, BMS, HVAC, Fire Alarm, Security Systems, Water Features, etc.

  • Attending to customer's ad hoc daily requirements, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Ensuring the building is maintained and kept fully functional at optimal performance.
  • Responsible for electrical maintenance and minor installs.
  • Carry out various reactive and planned maintenance tasks, within the HQ building and elsewhere on the estate.
  • Ensure PPM's are carried out in accordance with the PPM task schedules.
  • Fault diagnosis, rectification, maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for updating CAFM systems, ensuring contractual and statutory compliance.
  • Production of technical and situational reports as required.
  • Provide guidance and support to other team members of different trades.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the rest of the team and client.
  • Arranging access with security and managing subcontractors.
  • Proactively assisting to produce quotations by giving accurate and good quality information
  • Attend client meetings, as and when required.
  • Carrying out other duties, as and when required

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Must have at least 2 years' experience of a similar client facing role.
  • City and Guilds Level 3 (Electrical Installation) or alternative evidence of electrical skills set qualification.
  • City & Guilds th Edition I.E.E Wiring Regulations or equivalent
  • City and Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing) or equivalent.

Other factors:


  • This role will require overtime working and involves participation in a call out rota arrangement
  • Valid full driving licence is preferred.

Job Types:

Salary:
£34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
