    Our client who is a leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a highly skilled SAP Programme Manager to lead the SAP S4/HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale SAP programmes, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.

    The SAP Programme Manager will play a critical role in driving business transformation, optimising processes, and maximising the value derived from SAP solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    Programme Management:

    • Lead the end-to-end management of SAP implementation programmes, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases.
    • Define programme scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with business goals and requirements.
    • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure efficient project execution.
    • Implement effective risk management strategies and mitigation plans to address potential project obstacles and ensure successful delivery.

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, business units, IT teams, and external partners.
    • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
    • Communicate program progress, milestones, and key decisions through regular status updates, presentations, and executive reports.

    Team Leadership:

    • Build and lead cross-functional project teams, including SAP consultants, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    • Define roles and responsibilities, establish clear performance expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations to drive accountability and continuous improvement.

    Solution Delivery:

    • Oversee the implementation of SAP modules, applications, and technologies, ensuring adherence to best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements, define business processes, and configure SAP solutions to meet functional specifications.
    • Monitor solution quality, performance, and scalability, conducting thorough testing and validation to ensure reliability and usability.

    Change Management:

    • Develop and implement change management strategies to drive user adoption, minimise resistance, and maximise the benefits of SAP implementations.
    • Provide training, documentation, and support to end-users, enabling them to effectively utilise SAP systems and tools to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and innovation to drive continuous improvement and business value realisation.

    Requirements:

    • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with certification(s) such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum preferred.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively across organisational levels.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus to achieve project goals.
    • Proven track record of delivering SAP solutions on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and a focus on driving business value through technology.

    This is a permanent position with a leading manufacturing organisation based in "South of England".

    This role is set in a Hybrid environment split between remote and some onsite presence.
