    Role: Senior Project Manager

    Package: £80k + bonus + vehicle + health + additional

    Location: Remote with nationwide travel

    MDE continue to support a long-standing client who are rich history in the full scale development, construction, and operation of solar plants in the UK and Europe. With a track record of installing hundreds of PV systems generating more than 4 GW worldwide, this company is dedicated to advancing the energy transition and ensuring a clean energy supply for future generations. There is a real opportunity here to be a part of an international group and be a part of some of the most exciting renewable energy projects in the UK and overseas.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead turn-key EPC Projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and high-quality outcomes.
    • Mentor and provide technical expertise to the wider Project Management team and colleagues, facilitating effective project execution.
    • Conduct site visits to assess construction feasibility, monitor progress, and review works for compliance with quality and contractual requirements, identifying deviations from the Statement of Work.
    • Supervise all Site Acceptance and Commissioning Tests to ensure successful project completion.
    • Manage essential project resources, including the engineering team, on-site quality managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
    • Uphold the highest standards of HSQE practices and ensure compliance with CDM regulations.
    • Assist in the preparation of project tender information and develop subcontractor or supplier specifications and scope of works for contracting purposes.
    • Generate progress reports and assume responsibility for project budget reporting.
    • Ensure all necessary project documentation is prepared and maintained accurately.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or similar
    • Good understanding of project design
    • 4+ years of experience in delivering renewable energy projects (battery storage experience preferred)
    • Evidence of working on multiple projects at once
    • Good IT skills (MS Office suite, MS Project - Jira and Confluence is preferable)
    • Happy with nationwide travel
