Description
Spitfire Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our well established and successful clients in Winchester.


The Role:

  • Loading & unloading vehicles.
  • Ensure all goods received and sent out are checked for faults and reported to the relevant parties where necessary.
  • Ensure high levels of count accuracy at Stock Audits effectively communicating stock discrepancies, shortages or problem areas to Line Manager or Supervisor.
  • Ensure all received stock is 'putaway' in the correct locations within the Warehouse and all goods due for dispatch are processed, picked and loaded correct to customer order and DC requirements.
  • Ensure outbound vehicles are loaded in a proper, safe manner, according to instruction,
  • Company Practice and current legislation.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately as per company requirements.
  • Ensure goods received into the Warehouse are checked off as complete and correct to manifest, with any discrepancies noted clearly and signed for by both parties on relevant paperwork.

Hours & Pay:
- £11.65ph

  • Temp to Perm
  • Nights
  • Sunday to Thursday (2000 to 0530)

Additional skill payments once permanent:

  • First Aider £35pm
  • Fire Marshal £25pm
  • FLT Driver £75pm
  • Qualified Shunter £75pm

Requirements are:

  • Must have own transport or live local
  • Good communication skills
  • An understanding of workplace Health & Safety
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High quality work output
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent timekeeping and punctuality

£11.65 per hour
