Description

The post holder will be working in a Multi-Disciplinary Team environment, therefore must have excellent communication skills as they will be required to liaise with teams within Medway NHS Foundation Trust and other hospital sites.

Each tumour site specific Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) is responsible for the discussion and agreement of individual patients diagnosis and treatment plans.

The fundamental role of the MDT co-ordinator is to ensure that all cancer patients are discussed.

Making sure that all relevant information is available and the recording of information relating to the meetings and to the individual patient occurs.

This is applicable for all patient facing roles and roles within patient facing areas
