Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Category Lead for Subsea Projects who can join our multicultural team and contributes to our dynamic subsea business.


We need profiles who can lead the execution of strategies with engaged stakeholders and ensures that quality, cost effective services are delivered in a timely manner.

You will be fundumentally establish and develop following on your dedicated category:

  • Market knowledge and cost drivers of assigned category
  • Establish and maintain supplier relationships and partnerships
  • Strenthen the global network and work closely with internal stakeholders to plan for the upcoming demand.
  • Develop, align and implement global and regional sourcing strategy for appointed category(ies)
  • Negotiate frames and agreements in support of the strategy
  • Initiate and support improvement projects including digital ideas with suppliers and projects/operations
This role will report to Global Subsea Chartering Manager and can be based in Lysaker, Aberdeen or Paris

Travel is expected as part of this role.


You are meant for this job if:

  • Passionate about the offshore operations and vessels and interested to drive the change in subsea oil and gas and renewables market.
  • Technical and/or commercial degree or equivalent. Extensive work experience can compensate for lack of formal competency.
  • Experience in vessel related tasks/chartering or offshore services or similar
  • Strong contract and chartering understanding. Experience with BIMCO type of contract is required.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work across multicultures global organization
  • Experience in subsea projects in commercial or technical role is an advantage.
