Role Purpose


The Training Content Creator will design and develop learning material focusing on our new e-learning platform, virtual and also onsite training.

Review and test content for accuracy and usability.

The key to this role is to be an excellent learner and to be able to take complex information and make it simple and easy to understand, using a variety of educational techniques.


Working with multiple stakeholders to create and develop training content in order to meet the training requirements across all of our departments with the biggest focus on Operations.

Our ultimate goal is to consistently deliver the best journey for new starters and employees to bring the best outcome for the customer.

Participate in Training based projects and initiatives such as away days and to improve performance across a wide range of KPIs through the creation of engaging training materials and courses.

Be responsible for Mandatory Training and Knowledge Checkers across Operations. Liaising with the Training Team Leader if there are any trends in results and participation.

This role is being hired on an initial 12 month contract.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and create material for the Operations Training Team, to train to the whole of Operations.
  • Proofread and edit content for proper use of grammar, punctuation, style, and brand tone of voice.
  • Review and test content for accuracy and usability
  • Work closely with the Training Team Leader to evaluate and complete Learning Needs Analysis
  • Design and develop learning outcomes assessment activities, including assessment questions, scenarios, and observation forms.
  • Work with the Training Team on Business wide courses, including Know your Why.
  • Be responsible for Mandatory Training and Knowledge Checkers across Operations. Liaising with the Training Team Leader if there are any trends in results and participation.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Have worked as a Training/ Training Content Creator within an FCAregulated environment.
  • Some experience or understanding of financial crime and fraud/collections/customer service areas.
  • Experience in Virtual Training.
  • Product knowledge of personal loans, fixedrate savings and/or credit cards.
  • Professional training qualification
  • Experience working in a startup/fintech business.
