The Planning Team of Daniel Watney LLP, a leading multi-disciplinary property consultancy based in London, is growing. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious qualified Town Planner to join our team, which has a highly successful record, advising on a wide range of development projects

The role will involve;

Managing internal and external project teams.
Preparing and assisting with appeals.
Writing representations to emerging planning policy and site promotion activities.
A good working knowledge and ability to inform colleagues of the technical aspects of planning, including both legislation and policy, at local, regional and national levels
Servicing clients in order to maintain strong relationships
Supporting wider commercial aims of Daniel Watney and contributing to wider business development activities.

Key Skills and Characteristics;

Confidence and skill researching and in writing, and an excellent grasp of planning policy at all levels of the planning system.
Experience managing small/medium sized projects as well as assisting larger scale schemes
Providing excellent client care
High level of attention to detail
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential
Excellent report and specification writing skill
Highly motivated, positive role model supporting members of the team and contributing planning advice to colleagues.
