A bit about the role
:


Working within an enthusiastic and friendly team, the facilities assistant will play a critical role in supporting the efficient running of the Homes England office estate.


While you will be based at our Liverpool office part of the role will involve travelling to our Leeds and Manchester office locations supporting the business.


The facilities team are committed to delivering a first-class customer service, resolving issues informally wherever possible, and taking an innovative and creative approach to new ways of working.

The team values diversity in experience and perspective to foster good decision making and problem solving within their team.

This is a rare chance to shape the future estate in a national organisation with real social purpose. Working with key stakeholders and a professional team you will ensure efficient, consistent and effective service.

The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic projects nationally.

There are some exciting and ambitious projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the future office estate.


A bit about you:


Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.


As the first point of contact on the Homes England Reception you will possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and you will be comfortable welcoming and supporting our staff with complex issues, aiming to consistently deliver excellent customer service.


As an experienced facilities/ customer service professional you'll will have strong organisation skills and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way and you will be competent in the utilisation of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams and prior experience with CRM systems would be advantageous for this position.

Desirably, you will have or be working towards professional qualifications in either/or both Health and Safety and Facilities Management.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn't always easy.

You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as a team.

You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.
