As a Barclays Strategy and Governance Support, you will be responsible for collaborating with the management team in making informed decisions on the most pressing business challenges and opportunities.

Within this role, you will work closely with the Director and Head of Strategy & Governance to support and deliver on a wide range of strategic projects and initiatives.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting the management team on a wide range of projects and strategic initiatives across the Operations and Technology teams
  • Leveraging strategic and technical skillset to provide analysis, insights, and commentary
  • Working in partnership with representatives from Finance and Business Management and Centres of Excellence to source data,
  • Analysing and providing forward looking and insightful MI
  • Managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring they are kept in the loop when and where necessary
  • Shaping culture, engagement & communication initiatives

What we're looking for:


  • Proven experience of managing stakeholder relationships and coordinating with internal stakeholders at all levels of seniority, including Dir/ MD level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to distil information into key messages and deliver succinctly according to audience
  • Ability to appropriately prioritise activities to deliver to tight deadlines and multitask in a pressurised environment

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Experience in financial services; on an international scale preferred
  • Involvement in colleague engagement/cultural/communications
  • Creative mindset with a solid interest in strategic projects
