London, Hybrid - Office attendance 2-3 days per week*A global quantitative and systematic investment manager* is seeking a Product Security Engineer to establish a global, innovative security team.

The role is focused on building and leading the product security team, setting objectives, and overseeing the development and implementation of security controls and processes.

You will have the opportunity to build from scratch, interact with various technologies, influence architecture, decide on specific technologies or tools, and work on new projects.

The primary goal is to ensure that the fund's data and assets are safeguarded using controls that enable, rather than disrupt, the business.

Responsibilities:
Build and lead the product security teamSet objectives and oversee development/implementation of security controls and processesDevelop and implement security design standards and frameworksCollaborate with engineering and product teams to incorporate security into design/developmentConduct threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, and security code reviewsDevelop and maintain a secure software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Educate and train engineering/product teams on security awareness and best practicesRequirements:5+ years of experience in a product security/security engineering role2+ years in a leadership positionDeep understanding of security principles, techniques, and technologies for software/product securityExperience with threat modelling, risk assessment, and developing mitigation strategiesStrong technical background in software development, programming languages, and security toolsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skillsA financial services background - ideally high volume trading, investment management or similar Please apply here or contact me directly on - for more information.
