Job Purpose:

To work in Key's supported accommodation providing day to day management of the team at Foundations; maximising income and providing safe, good quality homes by working alongside people to live successfully in our housing and transition into longer term housing.


Key Tasks:


Staff management and support

  • To take the lead in providing day to day management of the team at Foundations.
  • Case management and case audits.
  • Monitor and ensure consistent recording & use of processes.
  • Providing support and guidance on safeguarding, confidentiality and information sharing.
  • Supporting the staff to embed an assets based approach.
  • Individual development including supervision.

Support Tasks

  • To work alongside people to settle into their new supported home focusing on working with them to find out what they need to settle, including support when things go wrong.
  • To work alongside people to live in their Key home, addressing practical aspects of living in supported housing, including managing repairs, tenancies, income and antisocial behaviour
  • To provide an excellent rents and service collection service, to include regular account monitoring and contact with people regarding payment
  • To provide support to people in making claims for housing benefit and other benefits to enable them to pay rent and service charges due
  • To ensure that people are linked into support from other agencies where required, including support with engagement.
  • To facilitate individual development and activity so people can take control of their lives.
  • To ensure the swift turn around and letting of empty homes, including arranging maintenance, referral management and sign ups
  • To provide regular reporting and analysis of rental and service charge income, property occupancy levels, tenancy and antisocial behaviour management
  • To maintain client records.
  • Adhere to and maintain all health and safety standards.
  • To build external relationships with key contacts to challenge and overcome barriers and system failures, and raise the profile and reputation of Key.
  • To be part of the oncall escalation rota, providing guidance to the out of hours service provider in responding to emergencies out of hours.
  • To work autonomously, solving problems and making operational decisions on a daily basis.
  • To collect monitoring information to help evaluate the success of the project.

£28,245.00-£30,293.00 per year
