My highly successful motor design and manufacturing company are looking to hire a Dynamometer Lead to help with their continued growth.

Successful applicant will become the link between the virtual simulated data generated during design and the real-world datagenerated during testing.

The role will include working with various internal teams to help develop and design motors such as the new electric drive unit and iEV range.

As well as working with external customers to help test new motors and calibrate with inverter.
The first 6 months of the role will be developing the software interface for the dynamometer using Lab view.

As this will be a new system design the successful applicant will have design freedom to learn and develop how there want the interface to look.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing the lab view interface of the dynamometer.
  • Develop motor test plans, gather data, and create reports.
  • Develop motor testing capabilities in addition to the dynamometer.

Skills required:

  • Interest and enthusiasm in advanced propulsion systems
  • Good personal skills and ability to communicate ideas
  • Lab view experience
  • Experience of electric motor testing
  • C coding experience
