Collections Account Manager - Bournemouth - Salary up to £32,000

Our client based in Bournemouth is looking for a Collections Account Manager to join them on a permanent basis to specialise in the collection of early and late-stage loan arrears.

You will be using your specialist experience to find solutions for customersand help grow the business.

Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday with start and finish times of 8am - 5pm, 9am - 6pm or 10am - 7pm.


Main responsibilities:

  • Deal with inbound and outbound calls to customers regarding debt collection
  • Ensure the best outcome has been decided by using negotiation tactics
  • Create content that attracts all customers to use the service and content that reengages with existing customers for repeat business
  • Work alongside the underwriting department to ensure the business learns from the collections department
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure the right arrangement is found for each customer

Requirements:


  • Experience working with debt/arrear collections
  • Understanding of forbearance and its process
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to problem solve and find improvements
