WHAT TO EXPECT

We are actively in pursuit of an accomplished Process Engineer, poised to play a pivotal role in advancing our Cell and Battery Manufacturing realm.

This individual will be responsible for implementing Process solutions to meet component functional targets.

Your mission? To develop the Process part of the BEV battery technology roadmaps to support JLRs electrification transition.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Consolidate and create benchmark material from device to vehicle that maximises our understanding of our competitors and the current / latest technology landscape being deployed
• Work alongside our Engineering Operations team to ensure we have the right Process in place to execute the technology roadmap
• Work alongside key business stakeholders to ensure we meet our vehicle product needs
• Develop and cascade a technology roadmap that takes us to the next generation of battery technologies such as solid state and Process-to-car / module-to-car concepts

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential –

• Experience of the multi-physics nature of Process and Battery Design and Integration
• Experience of Cell Manufacturing
• Experience within the competitor Process and Battery Manufacturing industry
• Ability to build and manage multiple internal and external relationships in complex stakeholder environments
• Knowledge of the BEV Process and battery landscape across the worldwide supply base or other OEM manufacturers to allow credible and competitive concepts and strategies to be followed
• An ability to communicate a technical concept and strategy vision to the wider vehicle and Power Train electrification teams in order to drive toward a single optimised roadmap
