    Business Development Manager - We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager, ideally from the water treatment or legionella sector, to join our sales team covering the Scotland region, during an exciting time of growth.

    Competitive Salary:

    On offer is a competitive starting salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum with a generous bonus scheme (OTE £50,000 - £70,000).

    Holiday: 25 days plus Bank Holidays.
    Pension: 7% Employer contribution and 3% employee contribution.

    About the role:

    As the Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the Sales Director and Regional Manager to manage all of the sales for existing and new clients in the Scotland region.

    You will develop and deliver the sales plan and strategy to achieve sales targets and agreed key performance indicators.

    Attend customer meetings, site visits across the Scotland region, as well as prepare and assist with surveys, quotations, specifications, and production of lender drawings.


    Other key duties include:

    Developing additional sales opportunities on site including after sales service, upgrades/ refurbishments, renewals and share new products and services.

    Assist with marketing and sales campaigns, developing relationships with lead generating companies as required.
    Investigating and solving customer's problems and complaints, which may be complex or long-standing problems.
    Assist with service support and project management where required. This is a full-time, permanent position. Working hours are 40 hours per week, with the core hours between )8:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday, with flexibility to meet needs of customers and the business.


    About you:
    You will be an experienced sales professional, working across the Scotland region.

    Although we are open on your sales background it would be beneficial if you have experience of water treatment, legionella and/ or a Contract Manager background.

    It is essential that you have the confidence and ability to work within your own sales area and to attend site visits.

    You will have the technical ability to advise and provide service support to clients, supported by a Technical Team. You will be willing to attend training courses to develop your knowledge in the sector. In line with our vision you will have a consultative approach, strong organisational skills with a problem-solving attitude. Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills. A team player, demonstrating ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally and with others. You will need a driving license, and we can either provide a company car or a car allowance.

    You will need the confidence and flexibility to be able to travel the whole of the Scotland region as well as attend the Livingston office on a regular basis.
