- To undertake site surveys to accurately access and appraise as built details of existing structures and prepare sketches of the same
- To undertake construction site inspections to check the quality of workmanship and compliance of construction with the drawn details
- Liaising with architects, contractors and other construction professionals
- To attend site meetings with Contractors and professional team members
- To comply with the company's Quality Assurance procedures
- To undertake training and continuing professional development (CPD)
- BEng or MEng in civil and/or structural engineering
- Demonstrable experience of working at a Project Lead/Senior level, including management of staff
- Achieved or close to Chartered Engineer with ICE or IStructE
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great team-working and personable approach to clients
- Prepared to work as part of a team or as an individual
- Candidates must be willing to spend time on site and occasional stays away from home.
- Full UK driving licence preferred
