CNC Setter/Operator

Technique Recruitment Solutions is a specialist engineering recruitment agency based in Norfolk; we are proud to be working on behalf of our prestigious and world-known manufacturing client based in Diss.

CNC setter/operator will set and where necessary, operate a range of CNC turning centres, and CNC sliding head lathes to produce parts.

Provision of a quality set up, adopting a 'right first time on time' approach, ensuring the required level of quality and efficiency throughout the production run.

• Report any production related issues to your supervisor, or line manager.
• Ensure that there is sufficient stock of raw material prepared for the machine to manufacture the components as per the works order / production schedule.
• Attend and participate in any relevant training courses, toolbox talks or briefings that the Company consider to be of benefit to you, or the department.

CNC programmer/setter will have previous experience in setting CNC turning centres and CNC lathes, programs will be mainly using Fanuc controlled systems.

This is a permanent role, 39 hrs per week.

This is a combination of Alternating Shift Pattern and Standard Day Shift:


Alternating Shift Pattern:

• Early Shift Monday to Thursday & Friday 06.

With a two hour overtime shift Saturday's on double time

• Late Shift Monday to Thursday & Friday 11.

Standard Day Shift

• Monday to Thursday 07.

In return our client is offering a competitive salary with shift premium for working afternoon shift as well enhanced overtime rate, early finish on Fridays, holiday - 23 days + Bank Holidays, company pension plan, occupational sick pay scheme. Rate of pay £15 to £17 per hour (+ shift allowance) dependant on experience
