    The Role

    As part of their growth, they are looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to join their team. This role is the linchpin for their existing customer base, with a primary focus on elevating customer relationships through strategic upselling, cross-selling, targeted lifecycle campaigns, and robust retention and engagement initiatives. The essence of this position lies in maximising the value they bring to current customers, ensuring their sustained satisfaction and deepening their engagement with their offerings.

    This role holds a unique position within the broader marketing team of 9 members. While collaborating with the team, this individual will autonomously drive the entire spectrum of customer marketing. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping their customer marketing initiatives, generating an upsell pipeline and ensuring customer happiness.

    In this role, you will be:

    • Full autonomy over Customer Marketing initiatives, demonstrating a self-sufficient capability to oversee strategy, execution, and implementation. A key aspect involves owning the end-to-end process, including the creation of compelling copy.
    • Working closely with the Lead Product Marketing Manager to shape customer marketing strategies
    • Strategising and implementing upsell campaigns through diverse channels
    • Executing expansive customer events to drive engagement
    • Serving as the key marketing liaison with Heads of Account Management
    • Overseeing the customer communications calendar to ensure a cohesive approach
    • Leveraging data insights for continuous optimisation of campaigns
    • Establishing thought leadership initiatives within the customer base
    • Taking on the role of a brand custodian to ensure the desired look and feel in communications

    You should apply if you have experience in the following areas:

    1. Customer Lifecycle Marketing in a B2B Sapace:
    • Proven experience in designing and implementing end-to-end customer lifecycle campaigns, emphasising customer journey mapping and tailored communications to enhance engagement.
    1. Upselling and Cross-Selling Proficiency in a B2B Space:
    • Demonstrated success in driving upsell and cross-sell initiatives, showcasing an ability to identify opportunities, create compelling offers, and execute targeted campaigns to maximise revenue from existing customers.
    1. Retention Strategy Development in a B2B Space:
    • Expertise in formulating customer retention strategies, including the implementation of personalised retention campaigns, loyalty programs, and proactive measures to reduce churn.
    1. Customer Engagement Optimisation:
    • Track record of optimizing customer engagement through various channels, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance the overall customer experience and increase satisfaction.
    1. Copywriting for Customer Communication:
    • Strong writing skills with a focus on creating persuasive and engaging copy for customer-facing communications, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and effectively conveying value propositions to existing customers.
