- Work closely with sales teams to provide legal support, particularly in the areas of software licensing and BPO outsourcing.
- Draft and negotiate complex IT contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Provide expertise in data protection law, with a focus on its implications for software licensing and outsourcing agreements.
- Support the business in the context of funds, collective investment schemes, insurance or pension products, investment & wealth management platforms.
- Develop and maintain precedents and processes for commercial contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Manage a heavy workload, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines effectively.
- UK Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE.
- Extensive experience in software licensing and/or BPO outsourcing.
- Strong working knowledge of data protection law.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating IT contracts.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build strong and trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to negotiate and draft commercial contracts independently.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a heavy workload and meet deadlines.
- Possess a can-do attitude, a progressive personality, and enjoy engaging with internal team members as well as external clients.
- Attention to detail, professionalism, and pride.
- Good working knowledge of the UK and/or Irish financial services regulatory environment, ideally with experience in custody and investment platforms.
- Experience with TUPE.
- Knowledge and understanding of revenue recognition.

Location: London with excellent hybrid working
Salary Guide: Market rate depending on experience level, plus bonus and benefits
Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE as Senior Legal Counsel within an established In-House legal team in the Fin-Tech sector. The successful candidate will have experience in general commercial agreements, software licensing and/or BPO outsourcing.
