    Behaviour Mentor - PRU-Barking and Dagenham- ASAP - £80 - £100 a day


    Teach360 are currently looking for a strong Behaviour Mentor to join a vibrant team in a Secondary school are a type of school that caters for children who can't attend a mainstream school.

    Pupils are often referred there if they need greater care and support than their school can provide.

    The students who attend this PRU have been permanently from their mainstream school for behaviour reasons, or at risk of permanent exclusion.

    About the role - Behaviour Mentor - PRU - Barking and Dagenham


    In your role as a Behaviour Mentor, you will be expected to work in the classroom supporting students with their academic studies, as well as supporting their social development.

    In addition to assisting students with their class work, you will also be helping them with their behaviour as well.

    In this provision, there are students who are experiencing emotional or behavioural difficulties, as well as problems with anger, mental health issues, and school phobia/refusal, among others.

    In addition to outside of the classroom, there are a variety of interventions designed to support children with their behavioural needs.

    As a Behaviour Teacher assistant, you will be involved in these interventions either by running them or by supporting them.
