We have exclusively partnered with a global alternative investment firm who are looking to expand their Direct Lending team in London. The successful candidate will have at least a year of experience within Leveraged Finance, M&A, or Private Credit.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing fundamental credit analysis which includes reviewing IMs, commercial due diligence reports, and broker reports on public competitors.
• Assisting with new deal origination efforts.
• Assessing legal structures and terms.
• Ongoing portfolio management and monitoring of existing investments.
• Assisting with investor relationship management.

Successful candidates will have:

• Excellent educational background from a top academic institution.
• At least one year of experience within banking (Leveraged Finance, M&A) or Private Credit.
• Knowledge of European private debt or equity instruments.
• Strong modelling skills (able to build an LBO from scratch).
• Ability to keep to a timetable and deliver timely and accurate work product.
• Enthusiasm for working in an entrepreneurial business environment.
