FINANCE OFFICER

LONDON BASED

SALARY:
£40,000 - £42,000
HYBRID WORKING - 3 days in 2 days home

The Opportunity:


Absolute Recruit are working with a charitable organisation to support their search for a supportive, driven, and enthusiastic individual to join their diverse finance team.

The role is to support the senior finance manager by controlling and reconciling thevarious income streams, including grants, Gift Aid, events and donations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Daily welfare payments to beneficiaries
  • Monthly bank reconciliation including grants expenditure
  • Process and reconcile the outsourced mailing receipts on a daily basis
  • Manage the income collection, banking and recording for all events
  • Submit and allocate Gift Aid income appropriately
  • Maintain the bank mandates for the charity's bank accounts and review as and when required
  • Collecting Direct Debit donations on a regular basis
  • Processing and batching of credit card donations
  • Preparation & daily banking of receipts

Key Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience of working within a charity or notforprofit organisation
  • Excellent Excel Skills pivot table, vlookups etc
  • AAT qualified
  • Knowledge of Gift Aid regulations
  • A proactive approach
  • The ability to work as an effective and flexible team member
