Legal Secretary Family Department
Temporary circa 4 weeks initially
Pay rate depending on experience

Monday to Friday 9am 5.My client is currently looking for some temporary support from a Legal Secretary in their Family law department for the next month.

Word processing/typing and collating correspondence and other documents from audio/digital dictation, amending and formatting documents quickly and accurately.
Day to day typing of letters, memoranda, monthly reports, bill, file notes etc.

To be a point of contact for clients in the absence of the Fee Earner and to answer incoming calls (including those to other staff in the office who are away from their desk) in a professional and friendly manner taking messages and passing on to appropriate person(s).

Creating and amending legal documentation.
Assisting with monthly billing.
Ensuring compliance with quality standards and the firms policies in general.

To be considered for this role you must have previous experience working in a similar Legal Secretary role as we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running.

You will have good administration and communication skills, and experience of audio typing would be an advantage.

The post holder is expected to use a high degree of self management and initiative and to maintain a highly professional, efficient, confidential and friendly service ensuring quality service to clients is always achieved.

You should be available to start immediately.
