Join our Commercial Aviation Training team in Gatwick as an Administrative Assistant where you'll provide support to the department as we ramp up for our next cycle of pilot training activity.
CAE's Commercial Aviation Training team works with major airlines to ensure a consistent supply of well trained and motivated pilots by supporting cadets through one of CAE's world-leading programmes.
We work closely with our customers to identify their needs and match them with prospective pilots or help current pilots cross-train and re-train.
Your role as an Administrative Assistant is a crucial support to ensure we can deliver and improve our proactivity through this period.
This is a 3-month fixed term contract (FTC)_
The role we are offering you
- Providing administrative and clerical support to relieve department staff and managers of administrative details
- Coordinating messages, appointments, and caller information
- Managing office supplies, mail, and ensuring correct file maintenance adhering to GDPR and data regulations/ best practice
- Receiving, screening and directing incoming calls and visitors including onsite visits
- Entering data and information into Salesforce CRM tool
- Supporting Sales team to ensure closure of all inbound and outbound leads
- Experience in an administrative role
- Knowledgeable and conscious of data protection, GDPR, and privacy regulations and best practices
- Good communication and customer handling skills
What else would be beneficial/ desirable?
- Good knowledge of Excel (e.g. Pivot tables)
