    Amazon's Brand Innovation Lab team is seeking a skillful, customer-obsessed Visual Designer to create brand-focused digital advertising that's displayed across Amazon sites, Amazon devices and external sites.

    As a Visual Designer, you are passionate about delivering world-class graphic solutions to worldwide top advertisers. You are both imaginative and pragmatic, feeling comfortable delivering exceptional creatives in a fast-paced environment.

    You will collaborate with global partners and stakeholders to meet brand's expectations, while advocating for the best possible end-customer experience.


    You have an inventor's spirit, and a beautifully-tuned eye, and have demonstrated experience moving projects from concept into successful execution.

    Through careful observation and determination, you can identify process gaps and use your strategic mindset to drive process improvements, always aiming to set your team for long-term success.

    As a candidate, you will have a deep understanding of graphic design processes and software.

    Additionally, you have a keen eye for detail, a self-starter attitude and an excellent ability to communicate. An online portfolio and previous design experience are required.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Design creative executions including but not limited to Amazon-owned devices brand and ad placements, maintaining high productivity, quality standards and meeting turnaround time targets.
    • Ensure design requirements are met in adherence with product specs, policies and creative guidelines.
    • Optimize digital images for web, mobile, big screen and other devices.
    • Follow and apply graphic templates and style guides.
    • Propose user-centered designs by integrating style guides, creativity, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings.
    • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to contribute to evaluate the feasibility of proposed solutions.
    • Help ensure quality control, while working closely with marketing stakeholders, design peers and quality specialist.
    • Exhibit an ability to follow creative lead as expected, and also contribute to push the creative envelope in a constructive, memorable way with the customer in mind.
    • Act as an expert for one or more design categories, helping resolve customer queries, troubleshooting when needed, as well as training and mentoring new employees.
    • Be able to incorporate an analytical and strategical thinking in a design role.
    A day in the life

    • Create best in class brand experiences using the Amazon canvas, templates and guidelines that meet measurable business goals.
    • Sync with EU clients to present and discuss your work
    • Independently lead campaign executions and collaborate with EU design teams.
    • Work with Art and Creative Directors to understand new brand opportunities to apply your top design skills
    About the team

    The Brand Innovation Lab team is the internal group within Amazon that creates one-of-a-kind campaigns and activations for global advertisers, like VW, Visa, BMW, Microsoft, Adidas, Samsung, and Unilever.

    Using all of the different platforms within the Amazon canvas (AR/VR, Alexa, Twitch, Prime Video, Custom landing pages on , etc.), we create campaigns that reach millions of Amazon customers across our digital channels and out in the real-world.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    years conceptual creative (Art Director) experience at advertising agencies and/or as an in-house creative.

    An online creative portfolio demonstrating a conceptual thinking skillset, art direction and design.

    Conceptual Creative (Art Director) should have in-depth understanding of industry design tools (Ex. Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, InVision), and a basic understanding of UX design.

    Data-driven and obsessed with measurable impact of a campaign.

    Excellent presentation skills and interactive storytelling ability.

    Strong organisation and collaboration skills.

    Exceptional at your craft and a critical project owner.

    A fascination with innovation and technology.

    Self-starter. Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Proven track record of executing projects successfully with teammates in different time zones.
