Integrated care is a key feature in our portfolio, reflecting the current cutting-edge thinking in relation to health and care provision. Ensuring that our activity is in step with the latest developments allows us to maintain our teaching and research at a contemporary level.

The range of professions represented within the Department, and our extensive expertise in innovative learning design and education development, means that the department is excellently placed to respond to many national and increasingly international, health and social care agendas.

We offer Allied Health Professions Degree Apprenticeship courses and are developing our portfolio in this area. We passionately believe that we can make a positive impact on the patient experience and service provision by providing quality education for the Allied Health Professions workforce. We work proactively and collaboratively across the professions, capitalising on the commonalities and valuing any differences.
