D Bank Eyecare has been providing Ophthalmic clinical care to the local community for more than 40 years.

We are a Family run Independent Opticians, that are looking for a like minded individual to work with our team to further represent a caring and valued service to the public in and around South Elmsall.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role as an Optometric Assistant at D Bank Eyecare located in South Elmsall. As an Optometric Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting optometrists in providing patient care and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the optometry office. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in an optometry or healthcare setting is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Basic computer skills
• Completion of optometric assistant training program is a plus, but not a necessity
