    Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

    3 month contract - rolling

    Location: South Yorkshire

    Rate: £30.00p/h (Limited - Outside IR35)

    Shifts: Days only

    Process Manufacturing / Industrial

    I am currently recruiting for a mechanical maintenance engineer on a contract basis for a key client based in the South Yorkshire area.

    The role of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will involve the following:

    • Reactive breakdowns & PPM work
    • Hydraulic presses
    • Maintenance of conveyors, hoppers, grinders, mixers, extruders & pumps
    • Cooling chambers
    • Oven - Soft furness
    • Boxing packaging

    As Maintenance Engineer you will need the following skills and attributes:

    • Mechanical engineering time served apprenticeship or equivalent
    • Welding to tight tolerances
    • Industrial manufacturing environment – reactive / work under pressure
    • Pro-active, driven, ability to work independently
    • Attention to detail, suggest improvements
