Dairy/Milking Machine Engineer – Devizes, WiltshireD
Full Time: Normal working week: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm (forty hours)
Salary: Competitive – plus company van, overtime, pension and standby allowance and additionalholiday
Location: Devizes based company, candidate to work throughout Wiltshire and the surrounding Counties
To carry out the installation, repairs and servicing of milking machines and automated milking systems within the agricultural industry. We are an authorised dealer for GEA Farm Technologies and BouMatic milking equipment and also service and repair various other manufacturer's equipment, such as ADF, Fabdec and Japy.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working within this industry is required

• MEA Parlour Safe and Electrical qualifications would be an advantage
• Full UK Driving Licence
• High standard of written and spoken English

RMS commenced trading in providing a refrigeration, air conditioning, milking machine andelectrical, maintenance and installation service to the agricultural and commercial industry.
Our main office and stores are based in Devizes, where customers are welcome to call in to collect any sundry/spares that they may require. We also carry out similar work in the Pembrokeshire area of West Wales which we support from Devizes.
We provide a 24 hour/365 day breakdown service with a permanently manned telephone service at all times. Any emergency breakdowns out of normal working hours will be attended to by one of several engineers who are designated on a daily standby rota.
Our engineers in the Wiltshire area provide a comprehensive maintenance and installation service -covering all refrigeration work on bulk milk tanks, cold stores and air conditioning systems; electrical testing and installation and milking machine servicing, testing and installation, including robotic milking machines. In addition to the service vehicles we also have a farm/sundry vehicle that makes monthly deliveries to these farms as required.
The area around Pembrokeshire in West Wales, run from our base in Clynderwen, also covers therefrigeration maintenance and installation work on bulk milk tanks and silos as well as the maintenance and installation work, parlour testing and servicing of milking machine equipment, including robotic milking machines.
