The Role_

The role is a hands-on cleaning role but, will include some responsibility for the supervision of others.

Duties_
To provide a clean and pleasant environment within two Boarding houses and to cover occasional absences within the Domestic services Department.
Preparing Boarding houses and other areas for use by summer lets and to make ready for the return of pupils in term time.
To assist the laundry staffing and service outside of term time if required.
To support the Operations manager and ADSM'S to implement Health & Safety policy and lone working practices for all team members.
To support staff in implementing the cleaning schedule and correct use and storage of chemicals.
To support requests from key staff for one off events cover and specialist cleaning.
To support the Department in its drive to improve recycling and sustainability across the Foundation.
To report any damages to school property or other relevant matters to your line Managers.
To undertake relevant training, both initial and refresher. Also support induction training of new staff.
To help maintain the fabric of school buildings in good condition.
To maintain high levels of cleanliness throughout the school.
To undertake any other relevant duties.
