    About the Role

    As a pivotal position at VE3, Azure FinOps Lead bridges financial management and technical operations within Azure environments. This role ensures that cloud infrastructure is not only technically robust and scalable but also aligned with cost efficiency and fiscal strategies, critical for sustaining long-term business growth.


    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement cost management strategies for Azure environments.
    • Monitor and analyse cloud spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on budget variances.
    • Work closely with IT and finance departments to forecast and budget for cloud expenditures.
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures in cloud deployments.
    • Lead initiatives for financial optimization and cost transparency across all Azure services.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Strong experience in managing cloud finances, particularly in Azure environments.
    • Proficient in using Azure cost management tools and services.
    • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.

    Certifications:

    • Certified Cloud FinOps Practitioner.
    • Certified Azure DevOps Engineer.

    Experience:

    · Minimum 8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, CI/CD, Big data infrastructure

    • Minimum of 3 years in financial management, with at least 2 years focused on cloud environments.
