    Job Type Full Time, Permanent

    Location Callander, Scotland (on the road)

    Salary £35,000 - £40,000

    Hours: Monday – Friday

    The Role

    Our Client has an opportunity for a Service Engineer with Electrical Experience to join their team. The company is expanding, and their main area of work is the provision and maintenance of waste water treatment equipment in both the private and public sectors across Scotland.

    The successful candidate should reside in Central Scotland and will be required to perform routine servicing of waste water treatment plants, attend customer callouts and work with their other engineers on larger projects and installations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Routine servicing and callout attendance at waste water treatment plants
    • Planning the route for the day's scheduled jobs
    • Presenting a courteous, professional manner to all their clients
    • Completing engineer's reports for all visits and specific service reports for their clients
    • Communicating with the office and handing in service reports regularly
    • Although based at home, you will regularly visit the company's base in Callander and will be prepared to drive and work across Scotland, with the occasional few nights away from home when required.
    • Provide excellent customer service to both their private and public sector customers, helping to project the company's values and standards.
    • You will be highly motivated and able to organise your daily work schedule.
    • Solve problems on site by diagnoses and use your experience to find solutions.
    • Specific training will be given on the job and the successful candidate will be expected to work competently on their own following adequate training
    • The successful candidate will be allocated a fully equipped vehicle and will be responsible for maintaining the stock and tools on the van

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Full clean UK driving license
    • Electrical qualifications with mechanical and technical skills
    • Good literacy and numeracy skills
    • Good communication skills
