    The Role

    As an Azure infrastructure Architect, you will be part of a large transformation program which will see many of its legacy applications re-written, re-factored and migrated from on-premises data centres to Cloud hosted. In this role, you will leverage your In-depth technical understanding and experience of public cloud, provide low-level hands-on technical engineering expertise for the Cloud Builds, Cloud control framework and continuous compliance service.

    Additionally, you'll take a lead role for the ongoing maturing and automation of foundation DevOps services provided for wider consumption across the organisation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with the development teams, Operations, Security and Architects to build and maintain the Application deployment pipelines and to ensure all solutions are Secure by Design and Secure in Practice.
    • Create and maintain the documentation for knowledge sharing and training.
    • Work with business stakeholders to identify strategic cloud integration adoption requirements.
    • Executes POCs and feasibility studies to validate next-gen product concepts and technologies leveraging results to guide business and technology decisions.
    • Work closely with IT Security, Compliance, and Risk Teams to ensure all solutions are Secure by Design and Secure in Practice.
    • Work with Scrum masters and product owners and other functional teams to translate the roadmap into releases.
    • Keep abreast of and gain expertise in evolving technology and understand how new technologies could be applied to our Cloud estate.

    Your Profile

    Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

    • Experience supporting major programs and other project-based activities paired with the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives to deadlines.
    • Hands of experience Microsoft Azure.
    • Good Knowledge in Public cloud (Azure).
    • Good Knowledge in X86 infrastructure, VMware, Active directory, storage, and backup technologies.
    • Good Knowledge in network technologies like firewall, DNS, F5 load balancer.
    • Hands on experience in using Azure services like Active Directory Services and Single -Sign on, Azure Virtual Networks, Subnet, Azure hybrid environment, Azure express route, Azure Routing, Azure Policy.
    • Knowledge of Azure Administrator, Network security groups, Application Security Groups, Virtual Machine, Virtual machine scale sets, Backup and Restore for Virtual Machine, Recovery Services vaults, Azure Storage Account, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Key Vaults, Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
    • Knowledge of Azure Automation, Azure CLI, JSON Strong, PowerShell Script.
    • Ability to liaise with other security and IT teams and interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across different business units.
    • Ability to explain detailed technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
    • Ability to work within traditional waterfall and "Agile" delivery methodologies.
