    Description
    GPS are recruiting for an experienced CNC programmer in Hammersmith.

    As a Senior CNC Machinist, you will be expected to set, operate and edit programs for 3 & 5 axis milling centres using Heidenhain controls, operate die sinking EDM and wire EDM, as well as ability to operate CNC lathe.

    The company machine small batches of bespoke high-end components, so we are looking for a proactive individual who has technical ability to read from drawings as well as understanding CNC programming.

    Desired Experience/Skills Required

    • Proven experience as a CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter and Operator using Heidenhain controls.
    • Experience of working within a low volume batch environment.
    • Able to read from drawings and assist programmers.
    • Ability to run multiple machines.
    • Proactive and a team player.
    • Knowledge of Agie Charmilles Die Sinking EDM, EDM wire cut machines using FANUC controls,
    SolidWorks CAD & Solid CAM is an advantage, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
    Salary Circa 40-45K (Neg on experience)
