    Early Years Educator - Babies Room (Full-Time)

    Our client, a leading private day nursery in Horsforth, Leeds, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join their team in the Baby Room.

    About Our Client:

    Our client is a unique nursery that provides an exceptional learning environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. They believe in the power of outdoor play and nature, and their curriculum is inspired by Scandinavian Forest School philosophies. Their idyllic setting includes a nature reserve, yurt, outdoor classroom, and nearby woodland, offering endless opportunities for exploration and discovery.

    About the Role:

    As an Early Years Educator in the Babies Room, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for our youngest children. You will be responsible for:

    • Creating a calm and loving atmosphere that caters to the individual needs of each baby.
    • Providing sensitive care and support, including nappy changing, feeding, and sleep routines.
    • Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
    • Observing and assessing babies' progress, documenting their development and maintaining accurate records.
    • Building strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
    • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the room.

    Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with babies and young children.
  • Deep understanding of child development in the early years.
  • Patient, nurturing, and sensitive individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Highly observant and able to identify individual needs and milestones.
  • Calm and positive demeanour with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

  • Requirements
    Lead and inspire a team of dedicated childcare professionals to deliver outstanding care and education to children. Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and external stakeholders. Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards, maintaining high levels of quality and safety. Drive business growth and development through effective marketing, recruitment, and retention strategies. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and empower staff. Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Passionate about early years education and committed to providing the best possible care for children.
