Multi-Skilled Engineer

£40,000 to £44,000 plus Bonus, Overtime & Benefits

An exciting manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineer on days to join their engineering team.

The role is varied in terms of building new systems, support on installations & commissioning of new systems and then routine & reactivemaintenance and technical support.

You will be a confident Multi Skilled Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical engineering skills, with the ability to read engineering drawings and conducting routine & reactive maintenance.

As a Multi Skilled Engineer your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.

  • Reporting into Head of Engineering Experience, you will be responsible for building new systems as part of an engineering team.
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and servicing of new systems at customer's site.
  • Once systems are on a customer's site, conduct planned preventative maintenance and provide reactive technical support to customer sites when required.
  • Read and interpret engineering and electrical drawings for a physical build and service maintenance of a new systems.
  • Undertake fault finding, problem solving, establish route cause and find solutions
  • Provide excellent customer service when at a customer's site.
An exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer with the following.

  • Apprentice trained Multi Skilled Engineer confident in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Able to read electrical schematics and system installation drawings, engineering drawings, P&ID's
  • Previous equipment installation and commissioning experience ideally in the food or FMCG manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to conduct electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs.
  • Understanding of PLC's with experience of fault finding and basic programming.
  • Positive thinking and selfmotivated individual with good communication skills.
  • Happy to travel across the UK & Europe.
  • Full UK Driving License and Passport.
